Sell your Essentiel Antwerp items
Give your Essentiel Antwerp items a second life by selling them via the online RE—SSENTIEL platform, and receive purchase credit in return.
Selling is easy! Simply follow the step-by-step guide here, to find out if your item is eligible for sale. If so, you will instantly receive a first credit offer based on your input and condition of the item(s) you wish to sell.
You are allowed to sell a maximum of 5 items simultaneously over a 30 sliding days period.
- The count starts from the first item that you register to sell.
- An item is counted while you are registering your item to be sold, specifically once you have reached **Step 4: Shipping** and accepted the terms & conditions. From this point on, the item will be deducted from your selling quota for a period of 30 days.
- If you do not send us your item(s) after reaching **Step 4: Shipping**, the selling quota will only be updated after 15 days.
In practice: if you for example sell 3 items on the 3rd of January, you’ll be able to sell only 2 more items until the 3rd of February. Or, if you sell 3 items on the 3rd of January and nothing more until the 3rd of February, you will be able to sell 5 items again on the 4th of February.
Happy with the offer and ready to give your treasured items a second life? To seal the deal, simply ship the item(s) by using the free shipping label we provide. Once we have received and checked the item(s), a final credit offer is made and you’ll receive the approved amount of credit in your online RE—SSENTIEL customer account.

To be eligible for sale, the item must meet the following conditions:
- It must include the Essentiel Antwerp care label that is sewn into the item.
- It must be free of damage, stains, repairs or alterations.
- It must be complete (i.e. together with all items such as a belt, slip top, keychain etc. which came with the original product).
- Jewelry, underwear, socks and shoes are excluded. For Items purchased prior to 2018, T-shirts, belts, scarves and bags are not accepted.
The step-by-step sell guide will create a credit offer for the item(s) you wish to sell. The credit offer is an approximate non-binding calculation. The final credit calculation is made upon receipt and quality check of the item(s) in the warehouse.
Ship your sold items
Once you’ve registered the item(s) you wish to sell, you will instantly receive a credit offer and a free shipping label.
- Ship the item(s) to us within 15 days.
- Pack the item(s) (max. 20kg) in a sturdy box. To help the environment, we encourage to reuse boxes, select optimal sizes to avoid empty volume, and choose FSC-certified materials.
- Include the signed transfer slip inside the box and close securely.
- Place the pre-paid shipping label on the package. Make sure to cover or remove any other old shipping labels.
- We recommend to keep proof of postage until the package reaches the warehouse: take a picture of the label or write down the tracking number.
- Once the package has arrived, please allow up to 15 days processing time.
- You will receive an e-mail confirmation once the quality control has been completed.
Within 15 days after receipt in the warehouse, your item(s) will undergo a quality control by a team of experts. If the selling conditions have been met, you will be notified via e-mail of the amount of credit that has been attributed to your online RE—SSENTIEL customer account. Items that do not meet the requirements, will be rejected.
Once your item(s) have been checked in the warehouse, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of the credit attributed to your RE—SSENTIEL account.
In the exceptional event that an item is rejected, no credit will be attributed and you will be informed of the reason via e-mail.

Place an online order
Found your next must-have item? Simply select your size and click on ‘add to shopping bag’. Once you’re ready to order, go to your shopping bag. Here you can add a promo code. Continue to the checkout and you will be guided through the next steps to complete the order and payment. Once the order is confirmed, you will instantly receive a confirmation e-mail.

Protection of data
All items available for purchase have gone through a quality check and eco-friendly cleaning process.
Every item on the RE—SSENTIEL website is marked with a hand-picked condition to describe the quality. You can find this information on every product page. There are three types of conditions to indicate the state of the item:
- New: the item includes the original hangtag and has never been worn.
- Excellent: the item is as new, with no signs of wear or defects.
- Very good: the item only has minor signs of wear.
We accept the following means of payment:
- Credit cards
- RE—SSENTIEL voucher
Shipment of your online order
Please note that RE-SSENTIEL can only deliver online purchases to Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and France.
You can choose between Colissimo (home delivery) or mondial relay (pick-up point) for the delivery of your online purchase. The package can be delivered at home or to a pick-up location.
Estimated delivery time:
We will make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible.
Belgium / the Netherlands / Germany: 10 business days.
France: 7 business days
Please note: Delivery times go into effect the business day after you place an order and are indicative. During busy periods, dispatch and delivery may take longer than usual.
Belgium / The Netherlands / Germany: The delivery costs are € 6,35 for delivery in a pick-up location, and for at-home delivery € 7,50 without requerend signature.
France: The delivery costs are € 5,9 for delivery in a pick-up location, and for at-home delivery € 7,50 without requerend signature.
Track your online order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an e-mail from the shipping carrier containing the tracking number. If you have a RE—SSENTIEL account, you can also find the tracking number by logging onto your account and viewing your order.
We do not offer exchanges. If you would like to receive a different size or color, please place a new online order. The items you have returned will be refunded.
You can return your purchased item(s) from www.re-ssentiel.com withing 14 days counting from the data of receipt of your order. The item(s) must be in unused condition and complete with original labels.
Make a return is simple:
-Log in to your RE-SSENTIEL account and register your return
-Download and print the pre-addressed return label.* This is available in your customer account, under "my orders".
-Pack the item(s) (max.20 kg) in a sturdy box and include the delivery note. To help the environment, we encourage to reuse boxes, select optimal sizes to avoid empty volume, and choose FSC-certified materials.
-Drop the package off at the location indicated on your return label
We recommend to keep proof of postage until the package reaches the warehouse: take a picture of the label or write down the tracking number. Within 14 days after receiving the item(s) in the warehouse, you will be refunded. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used to place the order.
*Return shipping is at own cost. To make it easy, a fee equal to the original shipping costs will be deducted from the reimbursement.
Can I return an online order to an Essentiel Antwerp store?
At the moment it is not yet possible to return an online order to an Essentiel Antwerp store.
What is RE—SSENTIEL credit
When you sell pre-loved Essentiel Antwerp items on RE—SSENTIEL, you receive digital credit that is attributed to your personal RE—SSENTIEL customer account. The credit can easily be converted to vouchers, that can be spent online or in store.
Earn RE—SSENTIEL credit
Give your Essentiel Antwerp item(s) a second life by selling them via the online RE—SSENTIEL platform, and receive digital credit in return.
Check your available credit balance
Go to www.re-ssentiel.com and log onto your online customer account. There you can consult your available credit balance.
Spend RE—SSENTIEL credit
Ready to spend that earned credit? Head over to your online RE—SSENTIEL account and go to your credit section.
Convert credit into a voucher by following the step-by-step guide. You’ll have the option to choose the amount, quantity and preferred spending channel (Essentiel Antwerp website, Belgian Essentiel Antwerp stores or RE—SSENTIEL website).
How to spend your vouchers*:
www.essentiel-antwerp.com: add the voucher details in your shopping basket, in the ‘gift card/voucher’ section, before continuing to the check out pages.
Belgian Essentiel Antwerp stores (outlet stores excluded): show the voucher details to the sales team.
www.re-ssentiel.com: add the voucher details to the ‘discount code’ section on the personal information page during checkout. This voucher can not be used to pay the delivery fees.
* The voucher remains valid for 12 months after date of issue.
